Diloti is multi-player card game that is very similar to the American card game "Casino".

Click here for directions on how to play Diloti. Or, click here for instructions on how to play Casino. The significant differences between Diloti and Casino are that in the game of Diloti:

each player is dealt 6 cards from the deck at a time, not 4,
capturing most cards gets 4 points instead of 2,
"Most Spades" doesn't get you any points,
the two of clubs gets one point, not the two of spades,
a tie for most cards splits the most-cards-captured points between both players,
each xeri (sweep) is worth 10 points.

You must use a web browser that can execute JDK 1.1 applets. Netscape release 4 and Internet Explorer release 5 or later should be JDK 1.1 compliant. There are some bugs when running the client on Netscape. Therefore, we suggest you use Internet Explorer.

Windows XP Users: You may need to download the Java plugin. If you do, you can get it from http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html .

Fri, Oct 1st, 2004: A reboot brought down the game server yesterday. The game server is back on-line.
Sun, Jan 12th, 2003: Registration system on-line.
Thu, Dec 16th, 2002: New website introduced.
Sun, Jun 16th, 2002: Support for playing chess has been enhanced. Everything (except for stalemate indication and en-passant capture) is expected to work.
Tue, Jun 4th, 2002: Support for playing chess has been added. You can make valid moves. However,
1. Castling is not prohibited if king/rook/spaces-in-between is under attack.
2. Moving king into check is not prohibited.
3. En-passant is not supported.
4. Pawn promotion is not supported.
5. Check/checkmate/stalemate is not recognized.
Because of the last item listed above, the game never ends. You'll have to restart the game to play again, or leave the table to quit the game. These will be supported in a future release.
